    Hi,

There seems to be a problem with the AJAX Control Panel.
I uploaded the files to my CS (note: my cs is not installed at the root level of my site) and renamed aero2 folder into default to use aero2 as my default skin.
Then I went to /themes/default/aeroscript.aspx on my site and saw aero2 "control panel home" page.
Once there, whenever I try to click on a link on the left pane to modify an option, nothing happens, the AJAX CPs never show.

Moreover, the aero2script.config file is not created. Something must be missing.

    Cheers

    Re: Aero 2.0 RC1 Feedback

Make sure that ASP.net has write access to your root directory, this is where aero2.config is created.  I might move this file to the themes directory, to avoid the problem with some hosts not allowing .net write access in the root.

My site runs the same version of Aero as I released, and I'm having no problems at all.

I even deleted aero, and reinstalled it just to make sure.

I've just found a bug in the way the Aero CP loads the javascript, missed a .ToLower() function of the script check.

I've just corrected the release, download it from the same place, and just overwrite the bin folder

Fantastic, the new dll solved everything.
Man it looks really cool now.

Just a suggestion for RTM Wink: if possible, try to separate the GUI strings from the dll, to allow localization of your control panels.
As you know, all CS strings are contained in XML files located in one subfolder per language of the [root]/Languages folder. It would be cool to add a nb_aero2.xml file to tye pack containing all aero2 strings.
It's not crucial but would look much more professional.

PS : I'm a former senior localization engineer, I'm currently working on a complete revamping of the CS French language pack which current "official" version is a nightmare lol.

Thanks again for your fantastic work

Yes, I'll try and do that for the RTM, mind don't expect it.  It might have to wait until Aero 2.1 or even 2.2

Thanks for that report, I know what is causing that, I think anyhow, lol.  Will be fixed soon

    Re: Aero 2.0 RC1 Feedback

Looks good so far but I have  a question concerning the live search feature.  Is there anyway to change the pop up so instead of nb development I could change it to my websites name?  Again great work you continue to outdo yourself!  One more question.  How does one go about setting the default color for the navigation bar.  For some reason when I try to edit the aero2.config it doesn't take to the color I want.  It is not a huge deal but just curious more than anything.  I didn't see anything in the aero control panel for it.

Ok, to fix this problem, edit /themes/%aero%/skins/skin-titlebar.ascx

Near the bottom of the page is caption: followed by some weired looking characters

Change these weired looking characters to your site's name.  This will be fix in Aero 2.0 RC2

The navigation color is the default color.  Aeroscript > Colors > Colors, chose the font you want as default by clicking the tick.
