Make sure that ASP.net has write access to your root directory, this is where aero2.config is created. I might move this file to the themes directory, to avoid the problem with some hosts not allowing .net write access in the root.
My site runs the same version of Aero as I released, and I'm having no problems at all.
I even deleted aero, and reinstalled it just to make sure.
I've just found a bug in the way the Aero CP loads the javascript, missed a .ToLower() function of the script check.
I've just corrected the release, download it from the same place, and just overwrite the bin folder
