Yep, more has been done on this already, with the introduction of the rounded borders used. These borders will eventually be loaded via the color setting of aero, but for now they are done using a static color. Click on the orb slides the customize menu into life. For the past 6 or so hours I've been working on getting the updated Aero 2.0 Control Panel ready for RC1 which is due sometime next week. So far it allows you to look at some stuff, but that's about all. Completely AJAX, with a Community Server Control Panel style sidebar to reduce what's on the screen...

Well it's offical, Community Server 2.1 RC1 has been released, a week after 2.1 Beta 2. http://communityserver.org/forums/thread/541756.aspx for more on that The development process of Community Server 2.1 seems to be moving along quite quickly now, with an average of 1.5 weeks between releases....
