It's approaching the time of reckoning. Aero 2007 Beta 1 will go on to NB Development @ 9pm . Beta testers will be able to download beta 1 off the site soon after. If your not a beta tester and would like to be one, open a private message to me, and I'll think about. That is unless you can wait...

Yes it's here, Aero 2.0 as from beta 3, will look almost the same in IE6 as it does in IE7 and Firefox. I've moved the menu bar from using a transparent PNG and background colour to a .net generated png image which looks exactly alike. This will also make regenerating the bar for the different varients...

OMG, this theme has come together quickly. There's still some things for me to fix with the Customization Menu, but everything else, including the new Control Panel are almost done, yes, almost done. Things to do after Beta 1 release: Finish the control panel off Redesign aero2.config enable opacity...

Today, I push forware the AJAX'ification of the customize tab. The backgrounds are now Ayncronously loaded when you change page now, instead of before where they were all loaded at once. This will increase load times and reduce bandwidth consuption, I hope. If you don't want to use the AJAX control...

Right, beta 1 is just being tweaked ready for release, but I'm already planning beta 2, ready for CS 2.1's beta 2 release. Aero Beta 2 will boast: AeroClassic varient, for ppl who can't do PNG's (IE6 users will be forced to use this varient) AeroReduced varient, for ppl who can't...

Today, after more bugs fixes, some I can't even remember, i've worked a bit more on IE6 and the background chaner along with the PNG transparency script. Turns out all of you in IE6 who wanted to change your BG had a problem, because IE6 was counting them as PNG's, and as such was filtering...
