SATA Problem

I'm starting to suspect that it was a SATA problem, rather than a HDD issue with the HDD's now.

Alex suggested that I try moving the 2nd hdd to another SATA slot on the mboard, and guess wat, it fixed the problem, well at least I think it did.  I've been running in XP all nite and no problem wat so eva, and I'm now in vista, running on the 2nd HDD. lol.  No problems at all. So it must of been a SATA problem.  I'm still going to buy these 2 new HDD's, and set up a Proper SATA set up, complete with RAID.  Well almost.  It'll be RAID 0 + 1 I think.  With an extra HDD attached to do a shadow copy of the C:\, D:\ and H:\ drives. (C vista, D XP, H home dir).

So I'll have 2 copies at anyone time of my H:\, so I neva have to worry about it again. lol

Waste of money tho, seeing as I'm going to be a bit strapped for cash at university unless the student loan gets sorted.

Anyhow that's all for now campers, lol.
