Last Friday I made the Theme Store, by this Friday I'm hoping for this to be completed, so that the new Themes, as part of the Theming, will be available for purchase.
The theme store uses the file gallery, as well as paypal's express checkout service. Currently it's using the Sandbox paypal site you allow me to finish the coding, but once it's ready, I'll make it Live for all of you to play with.
There's still some things still left to do with the Theme Store, like, make the items work, and lock out the download gallery page.
The Theme Store uses a mixture of javascript, client cookies, and ASP.net calls, it's all very interesting how it works, and quite cool.
For now, you can still download Minimalistic from the download gallery, for free, but from Friday, this theme will be Purchase ONLY. Themes can vary in price, with the most of theme being priced at £10 ($20), some of the more expensive themes might be as high as £40 ($80), but this is only for the most expensive themes.
Of course, Athena and Aero will still be available for Free, but the Theme Store really is only for the Theming Themes.
