Aero get's Clones and Drop Downs

I'm proud to bring you news on Aero 2007's Variant System, as well as Drop Down Menu's on Blogs/Forums/Photos/Downloads.

It's been a while since Drop down menu's where on Aero 2007, but now there BACK, and better than ever.  I'm still working on getting them to hide when u want them to, but that properly wont be until RC1.

The drop down menu's are paged, so they don't overflow the screen.  This setting will be put into the Theme Configuration in RC1, but for now, it's hard coded as 6.  The drop down menu's will be expanded to allow the Administrator to choose between actual sections, or groups.  Groups are the collection of sections.  So a forum will have forum groups.  A photo gallery will also have a group. This is scheduled for RC1

Everything else is working great. I've added some JavaScript to resize the main content to fill the borders, to avoid having gaps.  There are still some gaps where the Tab Paged controls (My Profile etc...) but that's properly a Firefox bug.

Variants are now active on my site, although there is only 2.  By default you need one.  Say default.  The Default variant sets the page up to look respectable, with no borders, and page scrolling rather than the current content scrolling.

This variant uses less resources to resize, but uses more to scroll.  For some reason.

Coupled with this variant, is a style.  Aero Lite.  This style uses the Default variant, to render a reduced CPU intensive style and look.  Of course this is no Aero Mobile, but it's good for those IE6 users.

You can make variants very easily, you can even use the '~/' in the CSS to represent the application path.  This is all because Aero 2007 opens that file, processes it (Aero Values), and spits it into the dynamic.aspx CSS page.

As usual, if there's anything I've missed, let me know NOW!
